Terms & Conditions – Hi-Tek Solutions

Welcome to Hi-Tek Solutions. By using our services or leaving your device with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully.


1. Diagnostics, Repair Timing & Abandoned Devices

Diagnostics Authorization

  • By leaving your device with Hi-Tek Solutions, you agree to provide at least 4 business days for diagnostics to be performed unless you request or choose our VIP Express services (excluding custom builds, holidays, and Sundays).
  • Hi-Tek Solutions is not responsible for data loss. Backing up your data is solely the client’s responsibility.
  • If the client declines repair or if repair is not possible, a diagnostic or attempt fee may still apply based on time and resources invested.
  • Canceled hardware or software orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Repair Timing

  • For approved repairs, the client agrees to allow up to 7 business days for parts to arrive, plus 1–2 business days for service after parts are received.

Abandoned Devices

  • Hi-Tek Solutions will make reasonable efforts to contact the client using all available communication methods.
  • If 30 days pass from the drop-off date without a response, the device (computer, laptop, etc.) may be considered abandoned and will become property of Hi-Tek Solutions. Such devices may be securely wiped, recycled, or disposed of according to company procedures.

2. COVID-19 Liability Waiver

By visiting Hi-Tek Solutions premises, you acknowledge and assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Hi-Tek Solutions, its employees, and affiliates are not liable for any illness, injury, or damages arising from COVID-19 exposure.


3. Data Recovery Services – No Refund Policy

By requesting data recovery services:

  • You acknowledge that all payments are non-refundable once data recovery is attempted.
  • Hi-Tek Solutions will make a good faith effort to recover data; however, results vary depending on damage severity and device condition.
  • Additional recovery attempts may be offered but do not affect your payment obligations.
  • Diagnostics for data recovery may take 7–9 business days.

4. Returns, Exchanges & Warranty

Physical Products

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase if products are unused and in original condition.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Digital Goods

  • All digital product sales are final. No refunds or replacements will be provided for lost, stolen, or unused codes.

Warranty

  • Hi-Tek Solutions provides a 90-day limited warranty on installed parts unless otherwise stated.
  • Warranty covers manufacturer defects and labor required to replace the defective part.
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover user-caused damage, tampering, overclocking, misuse, liquid spills, bug infestations, or modifications by third parties. Any such damages void the warranty.
  • Refunds under warranty may be partial (up to 50%) if replacement parts are unavailable.
  • Labor charges are non-refundable.
